SWAMPFIRE RETREAT & VISUAL ART
One of my favorite yearly activities is organizing the SwampFire writers and artists retreat with Dawn Burns, an award-winning fiction writer, and Defiance College Professor Emeritus Steve Smith at his pottery studio at 4 Corners Gallery.
The rustic setting, the studio "clutter," and Steve's gallery filled with pottery, glass, and metal and stone art inspire some of my visual art, including the images below and
other SwampFire art I've made over the years.
